LEARNING TRACKS
Customized training programs for different levels of education, experience, and effectiveness are the best way to guide individuals toward official certification of competency in the Re-Forma© Ministry Outcomes.

-
Foundation Track
The Foundation Track is for those wanting or needing the basic principles of biblical awareness. The goal is for the learner to know more about God, the Bible, and ministry. It is primarily for those who have had no previous ministry training, and who need a basis of discipleship. Berean Institute uses the "5 Tools of Personal Inductive Bible Reading and Study" curriculum for this study track.
Upon completion of this Track, learners who desire to receive the Re-Forma© Certificate for Biblical Training for Ministry, will go through the Fitness Track as a practicum to demonstrate their competence based on the Re-Forma© Ministry Outcomes.
-
Fitness Track
The Fitness Track is for those pastors or church leaders who have had some biblical training, formally or non-formally. They understand the basics, but need training to fill the gaps in their knowledge, and need discipleship toward character transformation. It is for those who through personal study and ministry experience have shown real-world ministry effectiveness. The objective is to both prepare the learner to meet competency standards and to validate and verify competency based on the Re-Forma© Ministry Outcomes.
-
Facilitator Track
The Facilitator Track is for Pastors and ministry leaders who want to be trained in pastoral or ministry competence and who desire to learn how to better disciple. Those on the Facilitator Track will be instructed on Jesus' teaching model, how to ask quality questions, using situational teachable moments, the importance of dialogue, and more. Upon completion, the learner will be validated as meeting the standards set in the Re-Forma© Ministry Outcomes, and will be equipped to train others through the same outcomes.

OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION
The Berean Institute, in partnership with Re-Forma©, awards a Certificate of Biblical Training for Ministry. Because this it is underwritten by the World Evangelical Alliance, this Certificate provides the first-ever global standard for non-formal pastoral competence in ministry training.
In order for a Berean Institute participant to successfully complete their training and be awarded the Certificate of Biblical Training for Ministry, they must demonstrate competence in each of the Re-Forma© Ministry Outcomes.
To assure that each participant has met this standard, Berean Institute implements quality assured assessments which require successful demonstration of how participants integrate learning across outcomes in relation to their knowledge and understanding, personal character, and ministry skills and abilities.
Direct and consistent assessment invites participants to demonstrate not only proficiency and competence within particular outcomes, but also the ability to integrate knowledge, character, and skills within their own ministry context.
Ministry competency cannot be successfully achieved without the essential grasp of knowledge, character, or practical skill. Therefore, an effective quality assured, impact based, and relationally facilitated training and assessment method must integrate all three.
