BIBLICAL EDUCATION
The interpretation of the Bible must be at the heart of biblical education, because the scriptures lead to faith in Jesus Christ and thus to life (John 20:31).
This requires love and respect for the Bible as the Word of God as well as the hermeneutical and exegetical skills that are appropriate to the type and level of studies.
We are committed to biblical education that: Focuses on God, Focuses on God's Word, Focuses on God's intentions for the world, and Focuses on God's transforming power. Our commitment to the Bible not only shapes the content of our theology, but also the way that we design educational processes and conduct teaching and learning, as modeled by Jesus and the Apostle Paul.
Berean Institute emphasizes biblical education for biblical ministry to make the distinction that the Re-Forma Ministry Outcomes are for non-formal biblical ministry, rather than only formal theological studies.
Not only does this Kingdom learning provide knowledge, skills, and competencies, it also transforms lives and cultivates Christ-like virtues and character. Courses are designed to reflect the realities of life and ministry rather than academic specializations and theological speculations.
